Building Bridges: Affiliate Support for Cultural Groups

At the heart of every cultural group across the diaspora is a desire to preserve heritage, empower communities, and connect generations. From traditional dance to language preservation and economic empowerment, these organizations are doing vital work—and TUKOLE is here to help them go further.

As part of our 2025 initiatives, TUKOLE Foundation Business Network is launching a Tour Services and Affiliate Support Program to work with cultural organizations across North America as Culture Affiliates and strategic partners in the diaspora economy.

Here’s how it works:

  • Affiliate Support for Cultural Groups:
TUKOLE will assist cultural organizations in preparing and submitting high-quality grant applications to opportunities and other regional diaspora development grants.

  • 10% Development Fee for TUKOLE Services:
In exchange for grant writing, marketing, accounting, and project oversight services, TUKOLE will receive 10% of awarded funds. This transparent fee structure ensures sustainability while allowing affiliate groups to focus on their mission and members.

  • Tour Coordination & Cultural Events:
Through the TUKOLE Tours Service, we will help cultural groups organize conventions, cultural expos, and regional tours—offering help with logistics, vendor coordination, marketing, and ticketing. Whether you’re planning a kingdom convention or a diaspora wedding showcase, TUKOLE can support you from planning to execution.

  • Shared Diaspora Calendar & Exposure:
Affiliate events will be promoted through TUKOLE’s platforms, including our website, email newsletters, and social media channels. Your group will also gain access to diaspora engagement tools and business connections developed through TUKOLE’s expanding U.S.-East Africa network.

Why This Matters:

  • Culture Affiliate Status = Funding Opportunity:
Cultural organizations with at least 10 unique members in good standing can qualify for funding through the Tukole Bridge Services. Many groups miss these chances due to paperwork challenges—TUKOLE is here to bridge that gap.

  • Shared Value Model:
Instead of outsourcing services or managing it all alone, cultural groups now have a professional partner in the TUKOLE Business Network who is invested in their growth, success, and impact.

  • A Jumpstart to Bigger Projects:
These initial grants act as seed capital—and with good reporting and outcomes, your group can grow into larger ventures, including cultural centers, real estate initiatives, and diaspora-backed cooperatives.
