Diaspora Bridge Services: Empowering New Beginnings in the U.S.
At the Tukole Foundation, we believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from diversity. Today, we are proud to unveil Diaspora Bridge Services (DBS), an initiative that embodies our commitment to supporting and enriching the lives of members of the diaspora in the United States while their local community.
It is an immersion support system that helps community leaders and organizers to streamline business and provide support services between the diaspora and back home. We offer tools, guidance, software and general management services for free to the group’s members, vendors and visitors. We achieve this through a volunteer network, membership dues, donations and merch sales.
This program has helped increase loyalty to the community group via post conference follow-up, partnership creation, increase in attendees to events, membership fees and creating employment opportunities for entrepreneurs that serve the diaspora.
